Geelong Performing Arts Centre is seeking experienced and enthusiastic people to join our team.
Theatre Technicians Part Time –20 hours per week plus additional hours based on the level of activity in the venue Casual – rostered according to the level of activity in the venue.
Suitable applicants will be able to demonstrate all or some of the following attributes:
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills
• Strong work ethic and the ability to work autonomously
• Experience with entertainment industry equipment
• Knowledge of safe working procedures within the entertainment industry
1 x Part time position requires Lighting, Staging and Supervisory experience
1 x Part time position requires Audio, AV, IT and Supervisory experience
2 x Casual positions requires Lighting and Staging experience
1 x Casual position requires Audio and Staging experience
1 x Casual position requires Staging experience
While not essential, qualifications such as a Certificate in Entertainment, testing & tagging ticket, construction induction (white card), working with heights and first aid will be highly regarded.
