Join the Plenty Ranges Arts & Convention Centre team and take ownership of our growing Conference and Events business. You will be joining a team which runs a state of the art theatre supported by a wide mix of function rooms and event spaces. Reporting directly to the Manager Major Facilities and working closely with the Head of Venue Operations & Customer Experience, you will take the lead role in the delivery of all income generation. You will be responsible for managing and developing a range of existing and new commercial opportunities.
This role requires an innovative and creative individual with exceptional business development skills who will also lead the businesses marketing operation.You will drive conference and banquet revenue and implement up to date selling strategies to maximise lead conversion into sales. In addition you will deliver new commercial income streams through sponsorship and developing strategic alliances. This is a hands-on role which requires strong management, administration, relationship building, selling, organisation and people development skills.
To be successful in this role you will have proven event sales and commercial experience with the ability to deliver strategic partnerships and alliances.
You will be highly motivated, hardworking and want to be part of that culture and work together as part of a close knit team.
