The Whitehorse Centre is the municipality’s arts and function centre and is owned and operated by Whitehorse City Council. The Whitehorse Centre’s Theatre Season showcases some of the best professional theatre from around the country. It is also a popular venue for many of the City of Whitehorse’s community and performing arts groups.
In this role you will coordinate events of the Whitehorse Centre, Nunawading Civic Suite and ancillary rooms ensuring excellence in customer service and commitment to quality and continuous improvement principles.
Part of your role will be to efficiently roster and supervise staff and contractors, coordinate all front of house operations, assist clients, visitor and volunteers, ensure equipment and fixed assets are appropriately maintained and manage cash floats and takings.
The successful applicant will have demonstrated experience, highly developed interpersonal skills, successful demonstrated supervisory experience as well as sound knowledge and commitment to the principles of Occupational Health and Safety and Equal Opportunity.
