Position: Board Director (Voluntary)
Victorian Pride Centre seeks new board directors to help steer exciting next phase.
As Australia’s first purpose-built hub for LGBTIQ+ communities, and the second largest Pride Centre in the world, the Victorian Pride Centre is a proven vibrant, inclusive and welcoming hub.
With two years of operation and the development of our third strategic plan to commence, the board is now seeking two directors, including a director to serve as Treasurer, to join an outstanding team to deliver on our purpose “to connect, support and amplify LGTBIQ+ voices, resources, services and groups so that our communities are cohesive, resilient and thrive”.
Are you an experienced board director who is passionate and committed to advancing equality and inclusion for LGBTIQ+ communities? Do you have previous experience in programming and activation, commercial operations, or as a Treasurer? We’d love to hear from you.
We are committed to ensuring that our board is representative of the diverse communities we serve and welcome applicants from all intersections. In this round of board recruitment, we seek applications especially from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people of colour, and people under 30.
