Position: Catering Services Supervisor
Contract: Temporary Full Time (with the opportunity to go permanent)
Salary: Salary commencing at $75,727.29 per annum plus 10.5% superannuation (commensurate with experience)

The Opportunity

The Catering Services Supervisor is responsible for the delivery of the hospitality and catering services at the Clocktower Centre, a performing arts and conferencing venue. The successful candidate will have relevant experience in supervising café operations, as well as being able to provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating a range of civic functions, and community and commercial meetings and training sessions
  • Coordinating a Monday to Friday public café service
  • Manage the hiring process of the Clocktower Centre’s meeting spaces
  • Formulate, produce and disseminate up to date catering and logistical requirements, floor plans, signage and event manifests for civic functions and meetings at the Clocktower Centre
  • Maintain up to date records using Council’s administration and management information systems and tools
  • Write reports and correspondence as required and requested
  • Maintain accurate financial and procurement records

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in the management of catering services (administration, planning and delivery)
  • Demonstrated experience in the management and operation of a public café service
  • A tertiary qualification in hospitality or events management or similar discipline is highly desirable
  • Current Responsible Service of Alcohol certification
  • Current First Aid certification is required
