Geelong Arts Centre opens its doors after 3 years of redevelopment.
Congratulations to Geelong Arts Centre and its exceptional team for reopening their doors this weekend to celebrate the completion of the 3-year, $140m redevelopment of their building.
Geelong Arts Centre has been a dedicated member of VAPAC for many years. We extend our congratulations to Joel McGuinness, the CEO of Geelong Arts Centre and a former VAPAC Executive Committee member, Shana Wedding, who is the current Deputy Chair of the VAPAC Executive Committee, and Tina Rettke, who is a dedicated member of the BOMnet committee, and all of the brilliant Geelong Arts Centre team.
Congratulations also to two of our members who were vital contributors to this redevelopment, the visionary architects at ARM Architecture and the brilliant design and technical team at Charcoalblue.
This redevelopment highlights the power of collaboration, community, and the commitment to innovation in the industry. We are excited to see Geelong Arts Centre continue to flourish with their new building now open to all.
