Position: Festival Marketing Manager – Asia TOPA 

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity for a senior marketing professional with festival experience to lead the integrated marketing campaign for Asia TOPA 2025 – Art Centre Melbourne’s flagship program of Asia Pacific performance and culture.

As the Festival Marketing Manager, Asia TOPA, you will plan and manage the delivery of integrated marketing campaigns for Asia TOPA’s programs and festival.  You will work closely with Arts Centre Melbourne’s internal stakeholders as well as the festival’s partners, promoters and presenters.  Your demonstrated previous experience will deliver robust relationships, strategic solutions and creative campaigns to drive ticket sales, attendance and engagement targets. While part of a supportive team this position offers day to day autonomy and accountability, providing the opportunity for the right candidate to really make their mark.

Full-time, fixed-term position from now until April 2025.  Band 4.2 $103,601.68 plus superannuation.

About the Team

Sitting within the Customer Experience pillar, the Customer Engagement business unit is responsible for maximising community engagement in Arts Centre Melbourne’s enriching experiences. Through the delivery of compelling campaigns and content and the facilitation of seamless digital experiences, the team attracts and engages existing, new and diverse customers with our brand, artists, products, experiences and services.

Your qualifications and Experience (key criteria)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or equivalent marketing experience
  • Previous experience in similar festival and marketing campaign management roles
  • Thorough understanding of media practices and trends across current and emerging mediums
  • Experience in the tourism, entertainment or arts sectors
  • Experience delivering effective audience development plans with a focus on culturally and linguistically diverse audiences
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strategic and creative thinker with a Customer First and results-oriented mind set
