The Performing Arts Centre Manager is required to oversee the operations of the George Wood Performing Arts Centre on a daily basis, ensuring that all needs of the School and any external users are met.
In particular, the successful applicant will be required to perform tasks in the following areas:
1. Venue Operations
2. Venue Bookings
3. Event Invoicing
4. Venue Staffing
5. Venue Administration
6. Venue Technical Operations
7. Venue OH&S and Emergency Procedure
Previous experience within a Performing Arts Centre within an independent school or similar setting is preferred.
The role is full time, across the full year and involves some out of hours work. Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills are required along with the ability to work autonomously, demonstrate initiative and to prioritise tasks, to best operate and promote the venue to internal and external users.
A salary commensurate with experience will be offered. The successful applicant must have a current Working with Children Check.
