Presenter Services Coordinator (Full-time, ongoing, VPS Grade 3)
Melbourne Recital Centre is a major cultural facility at the heart of an inspired global music community, increasingly recognized as one of the world’s great music venues. The Centre presents 340 events each year and hosts a further 180 in its two superb performance spaces, including the 1,000 seat Elisabeth Murdoch Hall.
The Presenter Services Coordinator provides high quality and professional coordination of venue hire activities, from initial enquiry through to confirmation of contracts. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for the Melbourne Recital Centre for new and repeat hirers. You will use your passion for customer service and your can do attitude to help deliver high levels of venue occupancy and strong client relationships through your ongoing contact with a broad cross section of Melbourne Recital Centre’s key presenting partners, as well as commercial and community hirers.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, together with an eye for detail in all written communications and documentation is required for success in this role. Experience from event coordination, customer service or arts administration in the performing arts environment is essential.
