Simon Abrahams, Executive Producer of Polyglot Theatre, has announced that he is departing from the organisation to undertake the exciting new position of Program Manager, Artistic Development at Arts Centre Melbourne.
“Over the last four-and-a-half years, I have seen Polyglot grow to become one of Australia’s leading performing arts exporters,” Abrahams said. “It has been an extraordinary journey, and I have loved playing my part as the company has made its most innovative interactive works – and been recognised for them nationally and internationally – during this time. It is with great pride, and much sadness, that I farewell Polyglot. It has taken an exceptionally exciting opportunity at Arts Centre Melbourne to lure me away, and I look forward to following Polyglot’s continued successes around the globe.”
Arts Centre Melbourne created the new position of Program Manager, Artistic Development to develop a program of artistic practice program and creative development projects in Melbourne, across the country and overseas.
