The VAPAC Executive has once again identified opportunities in our Strategic Plan to allocate funds to support the professional development of Member venues’ staff in 2020. We acknowledge the value for our membership from participation in industry events such as the upcoming Australian Performing Arts Exchange (APAX) and encourage members to attend and consider applying for support.
This year, APAX has moved online and will be made up of two elements – the Arts Market and the Professional Development sessions. The Arts Market will be featuring both presenters and producers. VAPAC Executive members Joel McGuiness and Rob Robson will be among the presenters, and a bunch of Victorian producers will be giving updates or pitches on tour-ready work.
