Technical Assistant – The Cube Wodonga

Events are coming back and we want you to help make it happen. We have an exciting opportunity to join the team at The Cube Wodonga. The Cube Wodonga is a state-of-the-art multipurpose conference and performance venue and hosts a variety of events from small meetings to standing room only concerts for 1600 patrons.
The Role
As a Technical Assistant you will provide support in activities occurring in The Cube Wodonga through the setup, pack down and technical operation of events. This includes events, conferences and performances hosted by both council and external hirers.

In our successful candidate we are looking for someone that can display the following.
- Systematically follow instructions in relation to room set up and venue presentation with great organisation.
- Use lateral thinking within the constraints of general duties of the role.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with internal and external stakeholders including commercial and community clients, general public, contractors and other council staff.
- Strong community and customer focus.
- Experience in live event or entertainment venue operations.
