Position Title: Theatre Technician
Salary: $41.58 an hour (inclusive of casual loading) + Superannuation

Are you an experienced Theatre Technician seeking the flexibility of casual work and the opportunity to work in one of Melbourne’s iconic Arts and Culture venues whilst enjoying being part of a fun and supportive team environment?
An exciting opportunity exists at the City of Stonnington to work at Chapel Off Chapel; A renowned hub of arts and cultural activities comprising of three performance spaces – The Chapel, The Loft and The Mezzanine.
As a Theatre Technician, you will be involved in maintaining technical equipment as well as the technical operation of performances. You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of performances and liaise closely with clients, stakeholders, Council departments and members of the public.
As the successful applicant you will have demonstrated experience in Audio, AV and Lighting Operations and extensive customer service experience and skills. Additionally, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be reliable, punctual, well-presented and hold an elevated working platform licence and a valid Working with Children Check.
