Casual or Part Time up to a contract of 22.8 hours per fortnight $33.09 per hour (including special engagement loading)
We require an experienced Theatre Technician to assist with the theatre and business events. Duties will include the operation and set up of staging, lighting, sound, audio visual and mechanist duties. Setting up of business events as well as bump in and bump out for performances is required.
The successful applicant will be motivated, meet the core physical requirements of the role as listed in the position description and be able to multi-task while working to tight timelines within a team, and also unsupervised. The hours of work will vary and will require night and weekend work.
Strong communication skills and excellent customer service are required. Knowledge of the performing arts industry, a current drivers licence and first aid certificate are an advantage and a commitment to working within OH&S guidelines is essential.
