2013 NARPACA Ticketing Professionals Conference & Tradeshow Learn From The Best

Here is your chance to hear case studies from leading practitioners in other industries alongside your arts marketing and box office peers in the context of how these can apply to you in the arts.

The theme for the 9th annnual conference in Sydney is LEARN FROM THE BEST. The initial program is online http://www.ticketingprofessionals.com.au/program.htm and stay tuned for more announcements of exciting sessions from industry leaders.

Sessions at the 2012 conference earlier this year included: Google, PayPal, Posse.com, The Nest and a keynote from Devon Smith of Threespot in Washington DC.

The Conference is a great professional development opportunity for anyone in the performing arts whether a venue or an event presenter/producer. Over three full on days 180 delegates will hear from national and international experts and network with their peers from all states around Australia and also New Zealand.

Delegates stay and meet at the one venue for three days of intense activity – On day one ticketing training sessions are offered and on days two and three – the conference sessions and tradeshow are held. The conference venue is the Sydney Menzies Hotel http://www.ticketingprofessionals.com.au/hotels.htm which is right in the CBD and only 10 minutes’ walk from both Circular Quay and Darling Harbour.

Running parallel with the ticketing conference, the tradeshow exhibition area is right beside the conference rooms. The tradeshow offers system vendors and delegates the opportunity to share, discuss and demonstrate recent advances in ticketing systems and services.

So you can catch up on the latest trends, network with other box office people from around Australasia, get training in your system and compare it to other systems – all at the one conference.

The conference costs $775 (plus GST) for three days, but until 21st December there is an early bird offer of $655 (plus GST) or a saving of 15%. The conference fee covers the training day, all sessions, all social events and meals.

Register now online at the www.ticketingprofessionals.com.au and save 15% before December 21.

Professional development support to attend available from VAPAC and Arts Vic, applications close 14 December. Details from Jenny Ryssenbeek exec@vapac.org.au
