Position: Venue Operations Leader
Contract: Permanent Full Time
Salary: $89,582 – $97,647 pa (plus super)

This senior role in the Drum Theatre has become available, and we are looking for a strong venue operations leader to support the realisation of high-quality theatre events and a safe, efficient, well-equipped and managed cultural venue.
The Drum Theatre is a key element of the City of Greater Dandenong’s cultural infrastructure with a 520-seat auditorium, rehearsal and function rooms, curated programming and external events.
This position requires a confident leader of the technical operations team working across the Drum Theatre as well as offsite events and opportunities.
Key requirements:
- Significant experience in the management and operations of a performing arts venue
- High-level skill in leading, managing and developing teams
- Proven experience working as part of a fast-paced team in a supportive and positive manner
- Collaborative approach and excellent communication skills
- Current Victorian Drivers Licence and Working With Children Check

In accordance with government or Council requirements, the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate evidence of an approved COVID-19 vaccination, including booster injections or an authorised medical exemption.
